Hi everyone and Happy New Year! Some thoughts and an update.. Here is a show I did New Years Eve time 2020 of course a different world, but the music still appropriate as there are a wide array of musical themes here like what NYE is itself, a set for those celebrating alone this year as there always are, saying farewell to the old year, and wishing and hoping for a much better New Year! Key songs from Mountain, Mick Jagger, Dylan, Billie Holiday, Nicole Atkins, Blue Nile, Mcgarrigle Sisters Sinatra, Live Billy Joel and more! The Listen Closely Radio Archive is always available on Mixcloud.com/chris-blasco2 below. I haven't been inspired to be honest for a number of reasons, and have taken a long hiatus and I don't miss doing the show. At 106 Episodes over 6 years ( just online alone, I added some from when it was on college starting around 2007 so about 17 years), not bragging but I feel very content about what the show accomplished, and feel as of this time I have done everything I wanted and gotten as much as I could out of the show. I will always be involved with Music on newhdmedia.com Mornings and Overnight now, and posting various things on Facebook. Thanks to all who listened and hey, you never know one day maybe something will bolt me out of bed, and I will be inspired, but it's such a fast paced, on demand different world with SO many options for the listener...
