Need a Christmas tree this holiday season? Look no further!

Join us for the 10th Annual Manhattan Parks and Rec's Red Cedar Holiday Harvest on Saturday, December 6, from 8:30–11 AM at Roger Schultz Community Park.

This free, family-friendly event lets you cut your very own red cedar Christmas tree to take home and decorate. We’re excited to partner with Britt’s Farm, who will be offering hayrack rides to and from the trees and selling assorted seasonal goods.

Bring a handsaw (no chainsaws, please). Parks and Rec staff and the Manhattan Fire Department will be on-site to assist.

📸 And don’t forget to enter our Griswold Tree Contest!
Pick out your most Griswold-worthy tree—the bigger, the better! Snap a photo with your masterpiece and we’ll share it on our social media pages. The photo with the most likes wins our Holiday Gift Basket, featuring:

🎁 Jams and jellies from Britt's Garden Acres
🎁 A family pass to the Sunset Zoo
🎁 A family pass to the Flint Hills Discovery Center
🎁 A family pass to the Manhattan Ice Rink
🎁 Manhattan Parks and Recreation Aquatics pass

Come harvest a tree, enjoy a festive morning outdoors, and take a picture for your chance to win!
