Renowned Czech-German jazz vocalist, songwriter, and bandleader, Martina Barta is celebrated for her expressive voice, deep musicality, and commanding stage presence. Classically trained on multiple instruments (French horn, piano, violin), she is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music (Jazz Arts, mentored by Buster Williams and Theo Bleckmann) and the Berlin University of Arts / Jazz Institute Berlin (studying with Judy Niemack, David Friedman, Kurt Rosenwinkel). Martina has performed at major international venues including Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Berlin Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Berlin, and collaborated with orchestras such as the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Orquestrina Baborak and the German Opera Berlin Big Band. In 2017, she represented the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her recent duo album with David Friedman “You Taught My Heart to Sing” has received critical acclaim for its intimacy, sophistication, and emotional depth.

Their comedy cabarets have sold out Joes Pub and 54 Below, they hold the Guinness World Record as the first drag artist to perform on all 7 continents, and had been featured in Vogue, People, W, Time Out NY, and The New York Times.

Marti made history as the first non binary candidate for city office in NYC in 2021 and as the first drag queen to moderate a panel at The United Nations.

Kristen Alderson is best known for her Emmy award winning eighteen- year portrayal of Starr Manning on the ABC daytime dramas One Life to Live and General Hospital. She also originated the role of Kiki Jerome on General Hospital. Her first theater role was at just five years old as Molly in the first Broadway revival of Annie. Kristen has starred in numerous Off Broadway productions such as, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Newsical the Musical, and a Musical about Star Wars. Kristen’s vocals were featured numerous times throughout the years on both One Life to Live and General Hospital. Kristen is now the lead singer of a Bucks County, PA local band called The Shiretones and enjoys every second of being a mama her adorable 2 year old daughter, Kiera.

Aviva dazzles audiences all around NYC. She has curated six solo shows including her most recent, VIVACITY, at Joe’s Pub.  Her magnetic voice, stage presence and bold performances have hailed her as a rising cabaret star, pushing boundaries and electrifying every stage. 

Aviva is an NYU TIsch School of the Arts graduate, with a BFA in drama from the Experimental Theater Wing, and a minor in BEMT (Business, Entertainment, Media, and Technology).

Jasper Fearon is a New York City based vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter with many years of live performance and studio experience. He is beyond thrilled to be joining the LineUp!

Before moving to NYC a few months ago, Jasper had the pleasure of working professionally as a freelance musician singing for private events, weddings, nightclubs, restaurants, and ticketed concerts all over Dallas and Fort Worth. While in TX, Jasper graduated summa cm laude with a Bachelors in Jazz Voice and had the privilege of being featured on two studio records with the UNT Jazz Singers, going on tour to Seattle, WA, and working/performing with incredible vocalists such as Kurt Elling, Lyle Lovett, and Nichole Zuraitis.

Since his move, he has been performing around NYC at venues such as Birdland and Groove in addition to other freelance work both locally in NY and out of state. Jasper would like to thank both Susie and Ava for inviting him to be a part of the LineUp!

For 32 years, Deborah Zecher served as rabbi and often cantor in Reform congregations in NY, Washington, DC and the Berkshires in Western MA. She was ordained in 1982, becoming one of the first 50 women rabbis in the world.  Years ago, she enrolled in an adult cabaret class at the Berkshire Music School and her love for cabaret was born. Each summer she would present a show featuring Jewish songwriters of the Great American Songbook and she was the producer and one of the performers of Warm Up the Winter, an annual fundraiser for fuel assistance in Western MA which has raised over $300,000 since it began.  In 2014, she retired from the rabbinate to pursue a “second act” as a cabaret singer. Deborah has been an enthusiastic student of cabaret at retreats such as the Yale Cabaret Conference, Heron’s Landing , the O’Neill and Il Chiostro and she has also been part of Singnasium since its inception.
 
Since 2018, she has presented three cabaret shows in New York, all of which have been MAC and Broadway World nominated and all directed by Lennie Watts.   Her last show which she created with her son Joshua Zecher-Ross—FAMILY MATTERS:  ALL THINGS RODGERS, RODGERS & GUETTEL—also won the 2024 Bistro Award for Tribute Show and was named one of the ten best shows of 2024 by Times Square Chronicles.  Together with Lennie Watts and her music director Tracy Stark, she is working on a new show for the fall of 2026 called Broadway Bible.  She and Tracy travel around the country with her Jewish-themed cabaret shows.  Deborah has also worked as a background extra for such shows as The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Madam Secretary and FBI.

Emelia is beyond thrilled to be joining The Lineup! A 7th grader at New York City’s highly selective Professional Performing Arts School—where just 33 students are admitted per class—she spends her days balancing academics with focused conservatory-style training in voice, acting and dance. Already deep into her theatrical era, Emelia is currently rehearsing for her eleventh production, this time as the dazzling and delightfully over-the-top Lady of the Lake in Broadway Workshop’s Spamalot. When she’s not belting, dancing, or acting, she is also honing her craft as a student of Broadway conductor, music director, and coach, Dan Micciche.

Fueled by a love of the stage, a flair for the dramatic, and just the right amount of theatrical chaos, Emelia is so excited to be part of The Lineup and can’t wait to share the magic!
