Come touch, taste, feel, make, and move!
We will be exploring the rich cultures of Louisiana through music, dance, food, language, heritage crafts, and more!
Every year, Louisiana Cultures sessions include Indigenous, Latin, AfroDiasporic New Orleanian, Creole, Cajun, and Asian cultural workshops and performances. This year, we will have Choctaw, Houma Nation, Dominican, Cuban, AfroDiasporic New Orleanian, Creole-Cajun, Brazilian, Vietnamese, and Filipino Culture Bearers.
Our last session is a “Cultural Sharing Talent Show” where everyone shares stories, songs, and more from their ancestors.
All workshops are participatory and all ages / any experience level.

Get Involved! Volunteer Work parties are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30-7 pm at Lower9.org
