Been a busy two days, but we've almost got all the new stuff pulled and assembled. Maybe tomorrow we'll get the entrance finished and figure out the path. Larry's been a great help, I just hope I don't wear him out.

Well.....we had decided to not open for tonight because we covered all the animatronics.....but.....we got tired of turning people away so we have turned all the lights back on. No animatronics but you are welcome to wander around and look, at everything else. We're really sorry but mother nature has other plans for tonight. We're already making big plans for next year. Come see us if you don't mind the wet.

Had some great friends show up last night. We had an awesome night. The fog plus the fog machines made for a very spooky walk.......bwahahaha. We'll be here thru halloween for thosebof you who haven't made it out. A special thanks to the family that dropped off the rat skeletons and signs for our haunt...you folks are the greatest and thank you Ken Uselton for the awesome framed picture.

We would like to thank everyone who came out last night to the Haunted Hallow Walk. We got to see a lot of old friends and meet a lot of new ones. I especially want to thank Debbie, Ryan and Mimi for the delicious shrimp and all you other folks that brought delicious food. You people are all part of my amazing and ever growing family. If you came and left hungry it's your own fault...lol. It was as much fun for me to see the fellowship under the tents as it was to hear all the screams and laughs coming from the cemetery. I want to apologize for not getting around to talk to everyone but we were running around like chickens without heads guiding the hoard thru the witche's house and cemetery. To all the neighbors we may have annoyed with the lights, sounds and traffic I would beg your forgiveness, but it was for a great cause. We also want to thank everyone for the generous donations. 100% of it will go to the Shriners Children's Hospital. I really want to thank Stacy Lester for not only indulging my crazy obsession but jumped in with both feet to support the effort......oh... and not killing me in my sleep. To Patti and Roger Owen....what can I say....you took 2 months out of your life and worked like rented mules to make this happen. We will be open thru halloween so if you missed last night you still have time to visit us. Hope to see you all again next year....it's going to be even bigger and better.

I was driving my wife around today putting fliers in several of the local businesses we frequent. We passed by the new market in Hillsboro and since we've used them quite a bit in the past we ask if we could leave a flier. We were told that only benefits were allowed. When my wife pointed out that it was to raise money for the shriners children's hospital she was told that they didn't want to clutter up their window....I guess the fireman's fish fry was different. I definitely want be cluttering their establishment with my presence again.
