🦚 HAPPY CLOSING: MERRY WIVES 🦚

Join us on the Taconic lawn one last time this summer, as we close the 2026 Season with a matinee performance of the audacious, ridiculous, joyous MERRY WIVES 🎉 !

Directed & Adapted by Jaz Hall
Co-Directed by Roberto Di Donato

with Original Music by Elsa Kennedy

Excerpt from the 2026 Artistic Director Playbill Notes: “Merry Wives illuminates what a slippery slope it is when love and insecurity tango together, and conversely, what true, vulnerable, and secure love looks like both in friendship and romance. What our own world could look like if we embodied the raucous joyousness and playfulness bursting from Merry Wives?”

🫯 HAPPY CLOSING: LEAR 🫯

Join us tonight in celebration as LEAR takes its final bow of the 2026 Season! Sharing this daring & pulsating production with audiences has been an incredible experience that we won’t soon forget.

Directed & Adapted by Elizabeth Dinkova
with Original Music by Elsa Kennedy

Excerpt from the 2026 Artistic Director Playbill Notes: “Dubbed one of “Chaos and Folly”, this season is underscored by a pulsing theme of Love and all the ways we succeed and struggle with it. The desire to love and to be loved so often drives us to do unexpected, and at times unimaginable, things. Grappling with the lack of control we have when it comes to the matter of love is perhaps the most universal of all human experiences. Our LEAR hones in on the many complicated threads of both familial and hierarchical love, and the deep wounds
and reactionary consequences that follow. What our own world could look like if we heeded LEAR’s warning to not confuse love and control?”

Featuring: Kimberly Schraf* as LEAR

⭐️ “FREE, FUNKY, FABULOUS” ⭐️

“SitW’s heightened camp production has a nightclub feel with electronic music opening the show (sound design and composer Elsa Kennedy), neon bars flanking the stage (lighting design by Mike Mitrano) and especially the flash and sparkle of Kat M. Ibasco’s costume design. The director and adaptor Jaz Hall, choreographer Sandy Borreno and their co-director Robert Di Donato keep the cast of nine running, jumping and jiving so there was nary a pause in the antic scheming of this b***y soap opera.”
