THANK YOU, MANCHESTER! ❤️
As we wrap up another Manchester Old Timers Day, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. Whether you’ve been coming to Old Timers Day for years or this was your first time, YOU are the reason this tradition continues.
A huge thank you to all of our sponsors who helped make this day possible and to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket to help us raise money for Old Timers Day. Every dollar of support means more than you know.
Thank you to all of our vendors who showed up and helped fill downtown with amazing small businesses, food, shopping, and smiling faces.
Thank you to my staff and my family for the countless hours, long days, late nights, phone calls, running around, setting up, cleaning up, and everything in between. Events like this take so much work behind the scenes, and I could never do it alone.
Thank you to all of our musicians and performers, Mid State Cloggers, and everyone who volunteered their time and talents to entertain our community.
Thank you to every single person who participated in the parade and helped keep one of the most special Old Timers Day traditions alive.
And a very special thank you to our police officers for being there, helping us throughout the day, and keeping our community and guests safe.
Most importantly, thank you to this community. Old Timers Day isn't just another festival. It's a tradition that has been part of Manchester for generations. It's about seeing old friends, making new memories, bringing families together, supporting local businesses, and remembering the traditions that make our hometown special.
Taking on an event with this much history and meaning is something I don't take lightly. There are always things we can learn from and improve, but seeing our community come together makes every stressful moment and every hour of work worth it.
Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for showing up. And thank you for helping us continue a tradition that means so much to Manchester.
Until next year, Old Timers Day. ❤️
We appreciate every single one of you more than you know.
