The Golden Age of Song Symposium is celebrating its 7th year in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and youโ€™re invited! Actually, itโ€™s happening at the Little Theatre of Manchester on Friday, August 21st at 8:00 pm. should read 7PM

Luke Nelsonโ€™s show takes you back to that song-filled street in Manhattan known as Tin Pan Alley with stories and tunes reminiscent of that golden era, but all from the pen of the famously unknown songwriter, Tin Pan Sally. You will hear how and why she never gained recognition while working several steps behind George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter and others. Youโ€™ll hear the songs that have survived, from her many failed theatrical productions. And youโ€™ll get to know Doylestownโ€™s finest song stylists, as they make the most of these unsung gems!
