Wildwood Tattoos was started by Tattoos By Caitlynn in 2020 in Portland, Oregon. In 2022, she moved back to Connecticut to be closer to family and opened her own shop on Main Street in 2023. Her goal was simple but meaningful: create a tattoo studio where people feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly welcome. Tattoos can feel intimidating, and Caitlynn wanted to build a space that feels safe, calm, and supportive.
Recently, Wildwood entered an exciting new chapter. After moving into a larger space, Caitlynn was able to bring on her first apprentice, Shannon. Both Caitlynn and Shannon come from illustration backgrounds and share a love for nature-inspired designs. Their styles complement each other beautifully, making Wildwood a truly special creative space downtown.
