Today, Princess Belle attended the Pete Ziebell 2nd Annual Memorial Scholarship Show at the Manawa rodeo grounds! She spent the day selling 50/50 raffle tickets to raise money for the Mid-Western Rodeo Royalty Program. In total, we raised $330 with the winner taking home $115. A huge thank you to Sonya Campbell for allowing us to sell tickets at the NBHA show today!

Hello everyone!

My name is Morgan Hess, and I am incredibly honored to serve as the 2027 Mid-Western Rodeo Queen! I am so excited for the year ahead and all of the opportunities it will bring. From meeting new people and riding in parades to sharing my passion for rodeo, I can't wait to represent the Mid-Western Rodeo throughout the year.

Although I wasn’t raised in a traditional horse family, that never stopped me from pursuing my dreams. From a young age, I started showing horses at the Waupaca County Fair, where I competed throughout my middle school and high school years. I was also on the equestrian team through school, where we competed at both the regional and state WIHA competitions. I was on the Pink Ribbon Rebels for a summer, tried out some roping, went on countless trail rides, and much more! When I’m not riding horses or studying, I enjoy hunting, fishing, racing snowmobiles, reading, and drawing.

I am 19 years old and grew up in Weyauwega, where I graduated from high school in 2025. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. My love for the outdoors is what inspired me to choose this path of education, and I am so excited to see where the future brings me!

The Mid-Western Rodeo has always held a special place in my heart, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent an event that means so much to me and others. Thanks to the dedication of co-chairmen Rachel Holzschuh and Annette Ziebell, the Manawa Lions Club, and the countless volunteers and community members who work behind the scenes, this rodeo has continued to be a wonderful tradition for so many people. I am proud to have the opportunity to help promote the Mid-Western Rodeo, share the excitement of rodeo with others, and be a small part of keeping this special tradition going for years to come.

This year, I am excited to represent the Mid-Western Rodeo alongside my horse, Shiner, as we travel, meet new people, and make memories throughout my year as queen. I am looking forward to riding in parades, attending rodeos, and getting to share my love for horses and the rodeo community with people throughout Wisconsin. One of the things I am most excited about is seeing the smiles and excitement on young kids’ faces when they see Shiner and me. I hope that through the people I meet and the experiences I share, I can encourage others to have the courage to pursue their own dreams.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent the Mid-Western Rodeo and am looking forward to all that this year has in store. Shiner and I hope to see you at the 69th Annual Mid-Western Rodeo!

Hey everyone!

My name is Belle Robinson, and I am absolutely blessed to be your 2027 Midwestern Rodeo Princess!

I am 17 years old and from Waupaca, Wisconsin. I did not grow up in a rodeo family but that’s never stopped me! Due to endless opportunities and encouragement from so many people in the horse and rodeo community, including my cousins who were also rodeo royalty, I grew up living and breathing horses. I have shown horses at County Fair, and attended fun shows competing in barrel racing and pole bending events.

I will be a Senior this year at Waupaca High School, where I am deeply involved in my FFA chapter, and am serving this year as our chapter's President. When I’m not with my horse, you can typically find me going for long walks and runs with my dog Seabass, going to Youth Group and Bible Study, working as a horseback trail guide at Wild West Campground and Corral, or spending time with my friends and family.

The Mid-Western Rodeo and everyone involved in it have been such a huge part of my life, and I am so grateful to be able to help promote it and give back to this industry that truly has given so much to me! Thank you to Annette Ziebell and Rachel Holzschush, the co-chairs of the Midwestern Rodeo, as well as the Manawa Lions Club, who make the rodeo possible and give us the opportunity to represent such an amazing rodeo.

Keep an eye out for Dakota (my Quarter Horse mare, sponsored to me by Wild West Campground and Corral) and I throughout Wisconsin this year, and don’t hesitate to come say hi! We hope to see all of you at the 69th annual Mid-Western Rodeo, and any other exciting events that this season will bring!

Yours Truly,
Belle Robinson
