The mission of the ARTfactory is to enrich the quality of life among all the populations in our area through the arts, including arts education and visual and performing arts. The ARTfactory is home to ARTfactory Actors Theatre (professional theatre company), ARTfactory's Pied Piper Theatre (youth theatre company), and Past Time Players (55+ theatre company). Our programming includes youth and adu

lt classes and youth camps in both visual and performing arts. We also provide community outreach programs such as our ARTful Wellness Series. Founded in 1984 by a group of artists and art lovers, we aim to enrich the quality of life in the Northern Virginia suburbs through arts performance and education. A theater, an art gallery and classrooms are located in the historic Candy Factory building in Old Town Manassas, at 9419 Battle Street.

This inspiring musical brings the beloved story of Simba, Nala, and the Circle of Life to the stage with unforgettable songs, vibrant costumes, and powerful lessons about courage and friendship. Perfect for audiences of all ages, The Lion King JR is a heartwarming celebration of love, family, and finding your place in the world.

Join us for ARTfactory’s “Open Flow Friday” event THIS FRIDAY, June 26 from 7 to 9 pm in the art gallery!

Open Flow Friday applies a creative spin to the “open mic night” concept, encouraging ALL types of creatives to participate, present, and/or perform their craft! Open Flow Friday offers an open mic, and open art demonstration space for local artists to share their art form with an audience, whether you are a poet, author, musician, painter, etc. This is your safe space for creativity, community, and self-expression! This event is free and open to the public.

Interested participants should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to add their name to the performance sign-up list.

Absurd, fast-paced, and wickedly funny, Beyond Therapy is a sharp comedy that skewers modern romance, self-help culture, and the often-chaotic search for connection.

Set in New York City, the play follows Bruce and Prudence, two well-meaning but deeply neurotic singles who meet through a personal ad and attempt to navigate the treacherous waters of dating. Both are seeking love, stability, and emotional clarity—but each is already entangled in relationships with therapists who may be far more unbalanced than their patients. As the characters’ lives intersect, therapy sessions, romantic entanglements, and personal revelations spiral into increasingly outrageous territory.

Presented by Actors Theatre at the ARTfactory July 24-August 2. Performances will be held at the ARTfactory, 9419 Battle Street, Manassas. Tickets may be purchased on our website at https://hubs.li/Q04lLgFk0. Please note, the July 24th performance is an Industry Night Performance and is free for those in the Theatre Industry. “Nostalgia” Exhibit Brings Together 25 Local Artists from Prince William Art Society

The Prince William Art Society presents “Nostalgia”, a group exhibition featuring work by 25 local artists and members.

On view from July 10 through August 9, 2026, the exhibition explores nostalgia as an emotional landscape shaped by memory, longing, and the passage of time.

Through a wide range of artistic interpretations, the works in the exhibition serve as portals into moments that feel half-remembered—places once known, emotions once lived, and histories inherited rather than personally experienced. Texture, sound, color, and form become vehicles for memory, evoking both personal and collective pasts while revealing how nostalgia shifts across individual perspectives.
