Yes, we are still on vacation, but Mark is taking a nap before we go out for the evening. I already closed my eyes, and figured I would check in...So far, we have seen poolside and relaxed after the long day of flying here. Then yesterday we started our tour vacation with NCL on land. Our driver and guide is Leo, and he is teaching us the language along with all the local stuff in between stops. We visted the dole plantantion for a quick visit. Mark got a dole whip...I tasted it...not a fan. THen we went to the cultural center, where we walked, rode in a canoe and saw a man climb a coconut tree. Stopped by the statue of the king (Hawaii Five 0), and got tons of photos, that I will post upon return, as I need to crop and fix (still a scrapbooker at heart). Today was pearl harbor. I felt my daddy with us all day, which is a weird feeling for sure, but I know he would've enjoyed the museums...tomorrow we have anothe full day on land, then we go on the cruise...so looking forward to seeing the other islands of Hawaii, and being on our happy place...cruise. But tonight we have a show here... If you read this far, I have tons of new ideas to start designing...I have been given so much inspiration here, wood engraved items, obviously more related to our neck of the woods, and not Hawaii, but still some cool things are floating around in my brain, that I hope you all will like...until next time...
