Some people leave footprints that time can never erase.

Last night, we lost Deakon far too soon. At only 18 years old, he had already made a lasting impact on so many lives, including ours here at Malvern Manor.

Travis and Deakon never hesitated to lend a hand whenever we needed one. Whether it was working on projects, helping prepare the Manor, or simply showing up with a willingness to help, they gave their time, their energy, and their hearts. Those memories will forever be a part of this place.

Watching Travis and Deakon together was a reminder of one of life’s greatest bonds, the love between a father and his son. It was a bond built on laughter, hard work, respect, and countless moments that will live on forever. While no words can ease a loss like this, we hope Travis can find comfort in knowing that the love they shared will never fade.

To honor Deakon’s memory, we will be planting a tree at Malvern Manor. It will stand as a living tribute to his life, a quiet place where family, friends, and anyone whose life he touched can come to reflect, remember, and celebrate the incredible young man he was. As the years pass and that tree grows stronger, so too will the memories of Deakon and the legacy he leaves behind.

Deakon, thank you for every laugh, every helping hand, and every memory you gave us. You will always be part of the story of Malvern Manor, and you will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, buddy. Fly high, and may your spirit always find peace.

Our hearts are with Travis, your family, and everyone who loved you. ❤️
