How fitting that Drama Guild is in tech for Funny Girl on World Theatre Day! This musical beautifully captures how theatre serves as an outlet for artistic expression and escape—while fostering a community built on trust, collaboration, and creativity. These are values we hold dear in GVHS Drama Guild.

With Funny Girl opening TOMORROW, we couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate than by sharing our final dress rehearsal with the talented GVMS theatre company. A heartfelt thank you to the teachers, parents, and administration who have supported us throughout this journey—we are beyond grateful!

Addi Miller (She/Her) - is delighted to be performing in Funny Girl. She has previously preformed in Chicago: Teen Edition, Sense & Sensibility, Mean Girls: Teen Edition, Heathers: Teen Edition, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. MEET THE CAST OF FUNNY GIRL: F***y Brice

Abbie Parker (She/Her) - is beyond excited to be part of this production playing such a dream role! She is a sophomore here at Great Valley HS where she has been in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Mustardseed), Anastasia (Teen Anya), and Mean Girls (ensemble). Other past favorites include: Fun Home (Small Alison, Barrymore award winner), Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Les Mis (Featured Ensemble, Enjolras u/s), High School Musical (Sharpay), Mamma Mia! (Ali/Dynamo Swing), Frozen Jr. (Elsa), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy), and Seusical (JoJo). This past summer Abbie became the season 4 youth winner of Danny Murphy’s Star Vocal Competition. She would like to thank her family for all their support and her vocal teacher Emily Merow. Enjoy the show!
