Another cool conversion!
Customer has a ‘98 USA JBass that he loves how it plays but disliked the tone of the active pickups.
So…we stripped it of all the factory electronics and installed some Fender Original ‘62 pickups with a control layout of master volume, blend, master tone and the 4th hole is plugged with a dummy pot/knob for aesthetics. The input jack is on the lower bout. Thump on! 🤟🏻

The original Shaw Dirty Fingers humbuckers are long gone, kinda like the worn out frets we’re replacing.
