✨Announcing our third choreographer for this year’s Bring it Home—Emily McKeon!✨

Emily is stepping into the role of choreographer this year, and we couldn't be more thrilled. As the co-director of PIVOT and a longtime ADT collaborator (she’s been with us since she was a teen!), this is a huge and exciting milestone in her journey. We’re proud and grateful to continue being a part of her artistic path and can’t wait to see what she cooks up with the incredible teaching artists and dance fellows of this year’s PIVOT program.

Let’s go, Emily!! 🎉

📣 More about this fantastic human:

Emily McKeon is a dancer currently based in Salt Lake City, UT. She has spent the past four years dancing with SALT Contemporary Dance, in both their second company and main company. While with SALT, she has performed works by Alice Klock, Ihsan Rustem, Omar Román de Jesús, Ching Ching Wong, Rena Butler, Brandon Alley and Racheal Prince, among others.

She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Dance Choreography and a BS in Education Sciences. She also received additional training from Boston Ballet, Ballet West, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and ChuThis.

Emily has worked as a guest artist with Adaptations Dance Theater for over eight years, and we are so excited to welcome her back home this summer as she co-directs and choreographs for ADT’s summer training company, PIVOT.
