Happy Thursday! We're beautifying and getting ready for the weekend of Makanda Vulture Fest! The holidays will be here soon so why not purchase things for gifts and/or yourself that are handmade and original? *** Please support our local artists and small business owners***
We will have ATM's but with all the people & being in a Valley, THE WI-FI IS WEAK.
Using plastic for purchases may be difficult, so please bring that green stuff that they call “cash”. There will be something for everyone to purchase at Vulture Fest --- paintings, prints, yard art, sculpture, photography, jewelry, wood, pottery, glass, fiber art, tie-dyes, soaps, herbal products, C*D products, henna artist, candles, willow furniture and so much more.
For the foodies: MJ Concessions will have corn dogs, funnel cakes, pretzels, nachos, shake-ups & sodas. Huey Phelps Concession will have elephant ears, Italian beef, curly & ribbon fries, cowboy fries, nachos, shake-ups, sodas & sweet tea. Tucker Cooking will have fried fish, pulled pork BBQ nachos & drinks. Taco Jim’s who will have Birria Tacos (beef & chicken), thai chili honey chicken, street corn, Mexican rice, fried mushrooms, banana pudding, schoolhouse cheesecakes & cheesecake bites. Glacier’s End will be here with syrups, hot sauces, vinegars, pickled items, seasonings & other assorted goodies. Fired Up Jellies & Jams will have jellies and jams available for tasting & sale. Space Age Bakery will have freeze dried fruit, veggies, candy, brittles, chocolate dipped strawberries & other snacks.
