I am still a 14 year old kid from Wichita by way of Columbus and Montclair in the body of a 78 year old who still can’t believe that I stumbled my way into the greatest job on Earth. This never stops taking my breath away. The love and support you show us never ceases to amaze me. We are always grateful and will always do our best to show up for you like you do for us. Seeing you out there with your kids, your grandkids and your friends singing along with us is a miracle and a testament to American music and togetherness. I’m proud to play for you and thank you all for coming. On to Atlanta!

R.I.P. Jenny Wood. 🕊️ A songbird to be remembered for so many attributes besides her contribution to music. While her writing supported a transformative movement towards anti-bullying, which touched countless children's hearts and minds, her battle after enduring a horrific accident shone a light on the many powers a being can behold. A testament to her warrior spirit and a gift to all inspired by her. Perhaps, by all accounts, DJ Carbon describes her best, saying, “so damned strong and fierce and delicate and just so many things.”

On this day in 1985, a star-studded supergroup sang for change, and the world listened.

USA for Africa came together to record “We Are the World,” a powerful anthem to raise funds for famine relief. With voices like Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen, and production by Quincy Jones, the song quickly became the fastest-selling U.S. pop single in history — even though Jackson and Richie only finished writing it the eve before recording. Promoted through a music video, a VHS and a variety of merchandise, the project raised more than $80 million for humanitarian aid in Africa and the U.S.

Why some bands will “make it” over others of equal talent. When fans are genuinely appreciated, they’ll support. When a band or their team with the same capabilities are aholes, they will only go so far. May the best man win is for real. 🎶 Beautiful!

At an emotional performance, Steven Tyler, the legendary lead singer of Aerosmith, suddenly stopped in the middle of his song. Looking out into the crowd, he noticed an elderly woman with silver hair and bright eyes standing at the front, her gaze full of anticipation. Without hesitation, Tyler walked over, smiled, and extended his hand, inviting her onto the stage. The entire venue was stunned as the elderly woman gently made her way up, her hands trembling but her eyes completely at ease under the stage lights.
