This Friday, June 13, join us for the Legacy Ball — a powerful Juneteenth celebration honoring Eatonville, our veterans, our youth, and the legacy of one of America’s most historic Black towns.

This is more than a gala. It’s a night of community, culture, history, purpose, and giving back. We’ll celebrate the past, honor the present, and help pour into the future through our youth and scholarship efforts.

Hosted by WESH 2’s Stewart Moore.

At the 2024 Central Florida Juneteenth Gala, we were honored to welcome State Attorney Monique Worrell as our keynote speaker.

Monique faced significant adversity when Florida’s governor removed her from the very position the people had elected her to serve. But instead of backing down, she stood firm, fought forward, and continued advocating for justice and her community.

Her resilience, courage, and leadership remind us what strength truly looks like. Monique Worrell represents the spirit of perseverance and the power of standing up for what’s right.
