The Mahwah FAM: Film, Arts, and Music Committee recently presented its 3rd installment of: PUB NITE in Mahwah at Mahwah Township’s All-Purpose Room at 475 Corporate Drive!

Our Film/Arts/Music Committee volunteers are multi-talented, as shown by their amazing set at “Pub Nite”, held recently at Mahwah Town Hall!

The purpose of the Film/Arts/Music (FAM) Committee is to promote the Township as a premier location for filming movie, television and music productions, art programs and to encourage producers to portray the many positive aspects of the Township of Mahwah, including its residents and businesses.

SEEKING 20-30 UNPAID short film background extras aged 18+ (ESPECIALLY interested in Mahwah & surrounding area folks ages 50+) for a funeral scene being filmed at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Monday, March 30th from 8am-12 noon.

Please email Casting Director Alyssa ([email protected]) and you will be given all the info needed for the day.

Here's what else you need to know (VERY IMPORTANT):
- unpaid/volunteer opportunity
- must be available from 8am-12noon on Monday, March 30th
- must be able to self-report to and from the Doubletree
- please be prepared to show up hair/makeup/wardrobe ready to film (funeral attire )
- SAG Micro Project (non-union/SAG members may apply)
- Credit will be provided to background actor as "Funeral Guest"

It was time to dig in the crates at the recent Mahwah FAM: Film, Arts, and Music Committee “Record Riot” event, held at the Mahwah Senior Center!

There was something for everyone at the Mahwah Film/Arts/Music (FAM) Record Riot - vinyl as far as the eye could see!
--
Everything “old” was new again, as people of ALL AGES dug through the crates to find their favorite vinyl record albums.
--
The purpose of the Mahwah Film/Arts/Music (FAM) Committee is to promote the Township as a premier location for filming movie, television and music productions, art programs and to encourage producers to portray the many positive aspects of the Township of Mahwah, including its residents and businesses.
