We will not be having open studio May 16th, BUT we will be having a studio field trip to Sawyer Yards to visit the Empty Bowls Houston event! Meet at 9am at our parking lot to carpool over!

WOW! Thanks to everyone who came out to throw bowls with us! They all look amazing! If anyone is interested in glazing bowls, the Ceramic Store of Houston is having a glaze party for Empty Bowls Saturday, April 25th, 10am-1pm!! It’s free, it’s fun, and it is for a good cause!

You can also go to the Empty Bowls Houston event and buy bowls! It’s at Silver Street Studios at Sawyer Yards on May 16th from 10am-3pm!

We’ve been working on bunnies this week! We learned how to throw the bodies and heads and then attach the remaining parts with handbuilding techniques! I am so impressed with how everyone’s is turning out!
