I have written about this a few times reference the similarities in combat strategies that Musashi and Braulio Pedoy shared even though the two bladed warriors were separated by 400 years. These are "my" interpretations from the 8 years I trained directly under GGM Pedoy and the 30 years I have studied Musashi's writings. As an example: Musashi #6 Adapt Without Attachment. Pedoy: If You Are Predictable You Will Lose. In his Derobio training it was Doces Teros defense-offense then broken numbers (random strikes). He would tell us: if you fight with habits, you will be defeated. As stated: these are my interpretations. Enjoy the art. Long Live Pedoy Style Derobio Escrima. 🤙🤙🤙
