Exciting Updates from Our Fall Esports Season!

As the fall season wraps up, we've had an incredible journey filled with achievements, dedication, and team spirit. Here's a recap of what our players and teams have accomplished:

🎮 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Congratulations to our CoD MW3 team, M6VE, for bringing home another championship! This marks their third straight undefeated season. Your hard work and consistency are inspiring—well done!

🏀 NBA 2K
Shoutout to master_gamer_75 for making it to the championship game this week! With a league-best record of 15-3, you’ve shown exceptional skill and determination. Best of luck in the finals—we’re rooting for you!

🎮 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Both our SSBU teams had an amazing season:

Riot Reckers tied for the best record in the State League and advanced to the playoffs.
Triple Threat fought hard and made it to the second round of the playoffs.

A big congratulations to all our players and teams who gave it their all this season. Your dedication, both in competition and teamwork, was incredible. Here's to an even more exciting spring season ahead!

After an amazing run, I’ll be stepping back, and Mr. Welch (aka BadBuddah) will be taking over as head coach. He’s been with us through thick and thin, knows the students and titles inside out, and has a track record of helping our players excel both academically and competitively. First up, a huge shoutout to the CoD Team for clinching the Back-to-Back Central Regional Championship! 🥇🎮 Congratulations to , , , , and for their outstanding performance!

But wait, there's more excitement on the leaderboard! 🚀🏎️ Huge congrats to for securing the 13th National Ranking in Mario Kart and claiming the number 3 spot in the Pacific Region! 🌟 Keep those wheels spinning, Asher!

And the playoffs are still heating up! 🔥

We've got representing in today's NBA 2K championship, while Rainbow 6 gears up for the CHIP on Thursday with , , -Marky1232, elmo, , and ready to dominate!

Meanwhile, Apex is charging into Round 3 with , , and leading the charge, while Rocket League revs into the Quarters with and on the ball!

Let's not forget , who is also vying for victory in the Quarters!

But hold up, we can't overlook the incredible efforts of our other teams this season!

Last but not least, a massive shoutout to our state SSBU team for making history by reaching the first-ever Oregon State Playoffs for SSBU AND getting their first playoff victory! 🎮🏆 Huge props to 2.0, , , and for your dedication and perseverance, even when the odds seemed stacked against you. 🎮 Update Alert! Our Call of Duty warriors clashed with the University of Oregon Ducks esports team this past Friday night in an epic showdown! 🦆💥

Now, the Ducks are swooping in again tonight, not for a rematch, but to share their expertise and coach up our team for the next level of competition and our own playoffs that start next week! 🌟 Get ready for some serious skill-sharing and strategy sessions!

But that's not all—separate from the UO face-off, we were invited to Bushnell University to explore their esports scene and chat with Director Jeremy Stout about scholarship possibilities and program expansions! 🚀🎓 Stay tuned for more gaming greatness!

Our esports team stands as a testament to dedication, skill, and diversity within the competitive gaming community. Comprised of talented individuals from various games, we have showcased remarkable performances across multiple titles, securing top positions in various leagues and tournaments.

Regular Season Triumphs:

1st Place - M6VE (Call of Duty MW3):
Undoubtedly, our shining stars of the regular season, M6VE, emerged as the undisputed champions of Call of Duty MW3. With an impeccable record, Daniel, Cyrus, Joel, Diego, and Ryder established themselves as the only 100% undefeated team, clinching the top spot with unparalleled skill and teamwork.

2nd Place - Bryson (NBA 2K24 & Madden 24):
Bryson's prowess extended across the digital courts and gridiron, securing commendable 2nd-place finishes in both NBA 2K24 and Madden 24. His strategic gameplay and precision made him a formidable opponent in the esports arena.

2nd Place - Triple Threat (Super Smash Bros Ultimate):
Lincoln, Landon, and David, collectively known as Triple Threat, showcased their mastery in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, securing a remarkable 2nd place finish. Their synergy and individual prowess added depth to our team's diverse skill set.

2nd Place - MHS Herd R6 (Rainbow Six Siege):
The MHS Herd R6 squad, led by Keegan, Dan, Tim, Mark, Amare, Xannan, and Eddie, displayed tactical brilliance and coordination, earning an impressive 2nd place in the regular season. Despite facing tough competition, their strategic gameplay and adaptability propelled them to success.

3rd Place - Mad Splatters (Splatoon 3):
Lincoln, Leticia, Martin, Keegan, Maria, and Eddie, competing as the Mad Splatters, showcased their ink-slinging skills in Splatoon 3, securing a commendable 3rd place in the regular season. Their teamwork and precision in the colorful battlegrounds were truly commendable.

8th Place - Riot Reckers (Super Smash Brothers Ultimate):
Thomas, Brennan, Jacob, and Eric formed the Riot Reckers, exhibiting their prowess in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Despite facing fierce competition, their dedication and skill earned them a respectable 8th place in the state league.

10th Place - MHS Rocket League 1 (Rocket League):
Andre and Esteban represented our team in the fast-paced world of Rocket League, currently holding 10th place in the regular season. Their strategic gameplay contributed to our team's overall success.

Playoff Aspirations and Individual Achievements:
With continued dedication and determination, our team stands poised to make waves in the upcoming playoffs. Brawlhalla, led by Thomas, Teegan, Dan, and Austin, is on track to secure a playoff spot, provided they maintain their winning momentum.

In addition to team successes, individual talents within our roster have shone brightly. Asher, aka Rainbow Racer, has achieved national recognition, ranking an impressive 13th in the country in Mario Kart Time Trials Races.
