🧡 Honoring Indigenous Heritage and History 🧡

As we recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Cowdeo - Jefferson County Kids Rodeo respectfully acknowledges the deep histories, cultural traditions, and lasting contributions of Native communities 🧡

Rodeo culture, agriculture, and the lands we gather on carry stories far older than our events, and today offers an important opportunity for our young riders, families, and supporters to reflect on that heritage 🤠

This observance encourages us to learn from Indigenous stewardship, support Indigenous artists and businesses, and honor the resilience of Native peoples whose traditions continue to shape our region and our shared community 🥰

We also recognize that this day is observed as Columbus Day in some areas, and we encourage thoughtful reflection and understanding as we uplift the voices and histories of Indigenous peoples 🧡

🐴❤️ 2026 Cowdeo Was a Day to Remember ❤️🐴

The dust has settled, the Corwin Arena has quieted, and our hearts are still FULL from an incredible 2026 Cowdeo - Jefferson County Kids Rodeo at the Jefferson County Event Complex 😍

Saturday, September 26, was more than just a rodeo—it was a celebration of our youth, our community, and the incredible Western spirit that brings us all together. From the first ride to the overall saddle winner presentation, the excitement, determination, laughter, and cheers made the day truly unforgettable 🤠

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time, energy, and countless behind-the-scenes hours to make this event happen. Your dedication is the heart of the Cowdeo, and we couldn't do it without you.

To our generous sponsors, thank you for investing in our youth and supporting this wonderful community tradition. Your generosity helps create opportunities and memories that our young participants will carry with them for years to come 🤠

To all of our incredible participants, we are so proud of each and every one of you! Thank you for showing up, giving it your all, cheering each other on, and reminding us what sportsmanship, courage, and determination look like!

Dust off those boots, shine up that belt buckle, and get ready for a rootin’-tootin’ good time inside the Corwin Arena at the Jefferson County Event Complex.

We’re talkin’ mini buckaroos showin’ off big skills, laughter echoing through the arena, and good ol’ community fun that’ll make you yell “Yeehaw!” without even meanin’ to. Bring the kids, bring the cousins, bring anyone who enjoys a bit of cowboy spirit!
