Natalia coached and choreographed Maroon Magic 2009-2016. Through the National Dance Alliance, the team ranked 4th nationally in the medium pom division in 2013 and 2014, and top ten in both pom and hip hop in 2015. Natalia continues to choreograph for teams locally and out of state. Natalia started gymn
astics and dance at the age of 5. When she started to feel unfulfilled with competitive gymnastics, she pursued cheerleading at South Hopkins Middle School. Dance Team was still very new when she approached high school, and a close friend convinced her to try out for HCCHS High Voltage Dance Team instead of cheerleading. Although still very much a gymnastics and cheerleading fan, Natalia found herself completely obsessed with dance once she made the team. Her time on the HCCHS Dance Team was very successful, with multiple team awards over the 4 year journey. Her senior year, however, proved most sweet when the team became Eastern Dance Association's 2003 Large Pom National Champions, the first High Voltage team to acquire a national championship. Upon graduation, Natalia became a member of the University of Kentucky Wildcat Danzers, and danced for the student organization for 3 years. Natalia also became a dance instructor for Eastern Cheer & Dance Association from 2003-2007, dedicating each summer to teaching dance to middle and high school teams across the Eastern United States. She was a member of instruction staff (4 years), choreography staff (3 years), training staff (2 years), and head instructor staff (1 year). During her time at EDA, she earned the opportunity to be a staff member for the 2003 Capital One Bowl Half-time Show. In 2006, she was invited to be a staff member for the Pro Bowl Half-time show, where hundreds of dancers and cheerleaders performed alongside the Backstreet Boys.
