The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.

Spooky season turned into story time! 📚✨
Our 6th graders stepped into the world of mystery and imagination on October 14th with a visit to the Gema Mahr Performing Arts Center for Mister E of Imagination: Tales of Edgar Allan Poe! From suspenseful twists to classic literature coming to life on stage, our students got a front-row seat to the magic of storytelling. 🎭👻

Our School Days Matinees audiences had a ball with Lexington Children's Theatre these past two days, and we look forward to welcoming them back in the new year!

There are four more School Days Matinees presentations coming up this season: LCT performances, The Children's Nutcracker, and a Hopkins County Schools production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
