I don't have ADHD, yet I typically have 5-8 art pieces in progress simultaneously. Why? I want to ENJOY the process of creating. I focus on on piece and if I get stuck or frustrated, I switch! Here is a sculpture I am working on the armature for. Of all the pieces I've every made, this one is closest to my heart (and that is saying a lot). I'm taking my time with her. It's a contemplative piece. In a sense, I'm creating my self-liberation. The completed piece won't be displayed online, I will wait to show it at The Drury Gallery in Portage next January.

Sometimes the intricacy of pieces just runs away from me!
How it started:
-Accidentally bought 3 HUGE tubs of vintage glass bottles (thinking they were mini bottles).
-Brainstormed what I could make with them.
-How it's going... currently deconstructing yarn to make tracts of hair to glue to wig caps to achieve the look I want for hair for the sculptures.
SO. MANY. STEPS.
Alas, I'm enjoying the process and can't wait to present the final pieces.

Woman down!
I'm finding the clay I'm using on the bottle sculptures dries best when fighting gravity. My messy art space looks like my sculptures had a rough bender.

Making this piece was a huge emotional undertaking. Contained in the weaving Materials were three T-shirts of relationships that are either ending or need reconfiguring. Included ribbons from my wedding in 2001 and a garment from my son who is getting ready to graduate high school and going out to explore the world. It was a meditation on letting go. 40 inches square, wooden frame with chicken wire.
