The Art Fair Off the Square is coming up on July 11th & 12th. Help keep the show running safely and smoothly by volunteering for a few hours.

The Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc. (WAAC) would like to invite you to join our membership. Membership is now FREE to all Wisconsin artists and craftspeople age 18 or older who design and create their own original artwork.

Whether or not you choose to participate in our fairs, membership in our organization offers many benefits. You are welcome to participate in any of our workshops and may occasionally be asked whether you are interested in exhibiting at our public art shows. Because we are primarily a volunteer organization, any contribution of time and/or energy that you care to make will be sincerely appreciated, and is a great way to get to know other members with interests similar to yours.

Applications are now open for the 47th Annual Art Fair Off the Square, which will take place on July 11th and 12th, and the 37th Annual Winter Art Fair Off the Square, scheduled for November 7th and 8th in Madison, Wisconsin.

These juried fairs are sponsored by the Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc., a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that promotes visual arts in Wisconsin.

Both art fairs are open to all Wisconsin artists and craftspeople, eighteen years of age or older, whose work is of original design and ex*****on. The starting booth fee is $315 for Art Fair Off the Square and $300 for the Winter Art Fair Off the Square, plus a non-refundable $30 jury fee per category. Four images of the artist’s work and one of the display are required. 

Applications are available only at zapplication.org. 

The final date to submit your application is March 2, 2026.

UW Hospital is hosting the annual WAAC UW Hospital Show from February 8 to March 6, 2026.

This exhibit is open to all WAAC members and is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work to the public.

There is no jurying required to participate in this exhibit, but you must sign up by January 26.

Each artist may submit up to two 3-D pieces (such as jewelry or sculpture) or two 2-D pieces (such as photographs, paintings, or wall sculptures). Paintings and wall sculptures must weigh no more than 50 pounds.

All pieces are insured by UW Hospital while on display. The UW Hospital requires a 20% fee for items sold through the show.
