Overture's Kids in the Rotunda

Overture's Kids in the Rotunda Overture's Kids in the Rotunda is a FREE community program for kids and families the Madison area. Free 45-minute performances at 9:30am and 1pm.

The 1pm performance will be American Sign Language interpreted. Please call 608.258.4447 if you need to be seated within sight of the interpreter or have other access needs to discuss. Sensory kits and wobble seats are available. Here are some tips to help you plan your attendance:

• You are encouraged to bring a

cozy blanket from home to sit on and create a comfortably distanced seating area to enjoy the performance.

• No eating or drinking is allowed in the theater space itself. Strollers are also not allowed but a “stroller parking” area is provided.

We've got lots of your favorite artists returning, some groups you haven't seen in many years, and some that are featured on the series for the first time ever! We can't wait to welcome you all back to our newly revamped space! 🤩

Shout out to Istvan & His Imaginary Band, David Landau - Children's Entertainer, Jeanie B! Music, and Toco Beach Steelpan for delivering unforgettable performances and a HUGE THANK YOU to Verona Senior Center, Baraboo Children's Museum, Madison Senior Center, and The Wisconsin Union for hosting us.

We can't wait to bring Kids in the Rotunda back out on tour...but the good news is, we don't have to wait long for more incredible family shows! Join us Thurs. Aug. 20th at the Madison Children's Museum for our 2026-2027 Season Announcement Party to see what's coming up this fall at Overture! See you there!
