There is so much happening right now that it is genuinely hard to hold. The news cycle is relentless. A new bill, a new ban, a new ruling — every week, sometimes every day — and each one is a real child’s life being made harder, but it moves so fast that it risks becoming background noise.

We are not going to let trans kids become background noise.

This print exists to say: we see you. We have always seen you. Whatever is happening in the news this week, that has not changed and it will not change.

Trans kids are loved. That is the whole foundation.

Here’s something worth saying out loud: AI image generation is not a neutral tool. It is an extractive system trained on the work of human artists — disproportionately impacting independent creators, q***r artists, artists of colour — people who were never asked, never compensated, and never credited.

Choosing human-made art is a choice about whose labour you value. Whose existence you’re supporting. Who gets to keep making things.

Rae has been hand-painting and hand-illustrating every piece in this shop for years. That is the whole foundation of Transpainter. We learned some hard lessons last summer about protecting that foundation more carefully. Consider them learned.

Human hands. Always.

Believe women.

Two words. Apparently still controversial.

Every time a survivor comes forward, the playbook comes out. You know the one.

What was she wearing. How much did she drink. Why did she wait so long. Why didn’t she fight back harder. Did you see her criminal record. Did you see his. She just wants attention. She just wants money. She’s lying. She’s confused. She’s ruined his life.

The Cornell lawsuit. The Kavanaugh hearings. Every high-profile case you’ve ever watched unfold in public. The tactics are always the same because they work. They work because we let them work.

Believe women means believing them before the evidence is perfect. Before their trauma response looks exactly the way you imagined. Before they’ve done everything right. Before an institution gives you permission.

Just — believe them.
