Wanted and Waiting, An Event at the Somerset Abbey. Wanted by the community, waiting on you. About me..... My name is Stacy, I own the Somerset Abbey. I closed recently due to a BUNCH of personal issues going on in my life.... 2 rounds of breast cancer, a hysterectomy to remove another tumor and to top that off, Luckily I am done with treatment and in remission. Then my husband left. I am all tapped out. Physically and Emotionally. This sale includes the Abbey Building, the house next door to be used as either your residence, a rental of either home or office space, an air B&B or as we used it, for housing for visiting entertainment. All equipment inside, static stage lighting, sound system, tables chairs, glassware, plates, silver, kitchen equipment..... basically most or all to run a nightclub, supper club, restaurant or you can get creative, run a restaurant out of the basement and rent the upper floor as retail, each has their own entry. Prime location in the center of town. I am willing to turn over the name, page with followers and website if someone is interested in that, but I will stress that this is not a sale of the business, just the buildings. I do not have the energy to be showing books, income or taxes to anyone. I am not interested in rent to own....... Only in a sale of the property. I need to pay off my debts and hospital bills. Asking 650K for both buildings in the center of town on Main St. Has this been your dream, do you have the energy? Give my Realtor Pam a call at 207-370-4271 Please help by sharing this, you never know..... a friend of a friend may be looking.

Two historic downtown Madison properties, sold together and furnished, with room for your next big idea. Use the 1892 brick chapel as an event space, studio, retreat venue, or creative business hub, and put the former parsonage to work for offices, lodging, live-work space, or additional rental potential.

Located at 96 & 98 Main Street, this property offers strong visibility, off-street parking, flexible commercial zoning, and plenty of character you simply cannot build new. Curious what you could do with it? Reach out for details or to schedule a private showing.

What a great deal for 2 buildings in the Center of Madison, great retail location. Set up for a restaurant or pub. Was used as a Music and Events supper club.

Ever dreamed of owning a place that makes people stop, stare, and say, “Wait… what is that?”

This one does exactly that.

In the heart of downtown Madison sits a truly one-of-a-kind commercial property made up of two neighboring historic buildings sold together. A former brick chapel and its charming parsonage, now ready for someone with vision.

The Chapel at 98 Main is pure character. Built in the 1890s, it features soaring vaulted ceilings, original stained glass, warm woodwork, and even a working bell tower. It currently serves as an event space with seating for about 160 in the main sanctuary, plus flexible lower-level space. It has a steam boiler, fire alarm system, and recent masonry and window restoration. Some repairs are needed, some repairs and upgrades have been made recently, and full details are in the disclosures.

Next door, 96 Main, known as Karningul Cottage, offers incredible flexibility. Think offices, retreat space, live-work setup, or creative lodging. It has 5 to 6 bedrooms, two full baths, an updated kitchen, pocket doors, red oak floors, a full basement, and a bonus room on the third floor. There is also a four-season porch, sprinkler system, and an accessible ramp.

Both buildings are sold together. Two structures, one lot, one deed. Most furnishings convey, with just a few personal exclusions (photos, etc.). This is a sale of the buildings and contents, not the business, but the seller is open to discussion if you want to continue the current use.

This is a high-visibility downtown location with strong daily traffic, ample off-street parking, and easy access to Skowhegan, Augusta, Waterville, and Farmington. Shops, the town office, and local favorites are just steps away.

If you are looking for ordinary, this is not it.
If you are looking for something unforgettable, let’s talk. 🤳🗣

Wishing all who passed through these walls over the last 12 years a Merry Christmas and I hope 2026 proves to be a happy and prosperous one for you all.

Awakening isn’t a glow-up. It’s a breakdown of everything false.
Some days you’ll feel like a mystical mess in a hoodie crying, unraveling, and wondering if enlightenment forgot your address.

But that’s the beauty of it.
Awakening doesn’t polish you; it cracks you open so the real light can spill through.
Messy isn’t failure. It’s transformation. It’s spiritual.
