Meet our owner, Ren!!!
Ren started her career after graduating from Concordia University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sonography and held registries within the ARDMS in Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, and Vascular Imagimg. After COVID, Ren felt that healthcare was no longer her calling and decided to pursue a new career in piercing. She found that piercing allowed her to use the skills she learned at the bedside and channel it in way she never imagined. Piercing allowed her to continue to help others in ways that made them feel beautifully unique within their own skin.
When Ren opened Pricked, her goal was simple: to create a studio that is compassionate, inclusive, and customer focused—a place for everyone to feel comfortable, confident and cared for. She wanted to provide college students and the community with an affordable, safe, needle-only ear piercing experience without sacrificing cleanliness or quality.
Outside of the studio, you can find Ren spending time with her two daughters, her dog Bruit, and her horse Bruno Mars.
