Meet the Artist: Helen Klebesadel
Follow her: Helen Klebesadel

Helen is a Wisconsin-born artist and educator known for large-scale watercolors exploring environmental and feminist themes. Her recent work focuses on native plants, pollinators, and the connections between nature and human life.

Her art is held in public and private collections, and she has contributed to the arts community through leadership and advocacy. She continues to create and mentor emerging artists from her Madison studio.

Meet the Artist: Christopher Sweet
Follow him: Christopher Sweet

Christopher Sweet is a contemporary Native American artist and an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin, with ancestry from the White Earth Band of Ojibwe in Minnesota.

His artwork is inspired by the cultures, traditions, and histories of both tribal nations. Since 2016, Sweet has pursued art professionally, sharing his work in galleries, museums, and public spaces. His art explores healing, unity, cultural identity, family, storytelling, and spirituality.
