WE NEED YOU!

Exciting things are happening at the Madison Skating Rink, and we’re looking for volunteers to help bring this project to life!

There are LOTS of ways to help, big and small! We’re looking for people willing to:

🥪 Make/donate ham sandwiches
🍪 Donate baked goods
💧Donate a couple cases of water
🔨 Help with construction of the new structure

You don’t have to be handy with a hammer to be part of this project! Whether you can bake a pan of bars, donate some food, give a few hours of your time, or help with construction — every contribution helps.

This skating rink is a space for our kids, families, and entire community, and we’d love to make improving it a true community effort. ❤️

Things are happening at the rink today! Huge shout out & thank you to Croatt’s Concrete for their work getting the cement pad prepped & poured.

Next step is removing the garage door & installing a new walk in patio door. 🚪🛠️

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

The City of Madison has been awarded a $14,000 AARP Community Challenge Grant to improve our skating rink! Out of more than 5,100 applications nationwide, only 750 projects were selected, and we’re honored to be one of them.

This project will add a covered gathering space, a safer patio entrance, an ADA-accessible ramp, and additional storage—creating a welcoming place for people of all ages to enjoy, especially during our long Minnesota winters. ❄️❤️

Work begins this July, and we’d love for the community to be part of it! Whether you’d like to lend a hand, pickup supplies, make a monetary donation or simply cheer us on, every contribution helps. For more information, contact Brittany at 320-226-7165 or message our page!

Sad News, the Madison skating rink will be closed for the season do to this weather. After this weekend all the ice will be pretty much gone. If people would come pay there Candy money tabs Please or get ahold of me for skates and sticks to.

Rink will be closed after school to help preserve the ice. See you at 7PM!

Family fun for all! Dress warm & let’s make some memories! Bonfire, s’mores, and fun! Event & snacks free and sponsored by a Thrivent Action Grant. Hope to see you all there! ❄️⛸️🏒🎇

So today the rink is not gonna be open, try to save the ice for Friday for the party see you guys tomorrow..
