KCACTF 2021- INFORMATIONAL MEETING

KCACTF will be in person this year. We will only be taking 10 students to Indiana due to COVID protocols. Preference will be given to Irene Ryan Nominees, Partners, and Students who enter design competitions. We are encouraging Irene Ryan nominees to share partners so that more spots can be available.

The Department will cover:
Registration Fees
Hotel Fees (2 students per room)
Transportation Fees
2 Group Meals at Festival

Students will need to be in good academic standing to attend, they will need to fill out an application form, and register for 1 credit over winter break. All IRENE RYAN NOMINEES INTERESTED IN ATTENDING FESTIVAL WILL NEED TO ATTEND THE INFORMATIONAL SESSION.

Edgewood College Theatre needs YOU to audition for the Student Directed One Acts. There are 14 roles that need your talent! The show will be performed virtually and all rehearsals will take place online. You will not have more than 3 rehearsal per week, so this is a great show to be a part of, especially if you have a busy schedule. We'd love to see YOU at the virtual auditions on March 8 or March 9 from 4:30-6:00 pm. Check-out the link for more information.

My partner and education manager of CTM has informed me of an opportunity for COLLEGE STUDENTS to see this wonderful show! Edgewood College's resident set designer Chris Dunham designed the set! Information is below:

"We are so excited to offer this exclusive opportunity to attend our Student Matinee performance of A Christmas Carol for FREE! The offer is for THIS Thursday's performance: December 12 at 9:30am ONLY. The show runs approximately 2hrs and 5 minutes with a 15 minute intermission and a 10 minute talkback offered immediately after the show.

How to get these FREE tickets, you ask? Simple! Just email or call me, Laura McMillan, the Education Manager here at CTM, at [email protected] or 608-255-2080 extension 107. Tell me your name and the amount of tickets you want and then just show up to the Capitol Theater at the Overture Center for the Arts on Thursday! Your name will be on a list and you will just need a name tag (which we provide). Once your name tag is on, you will be shown to your seat. We do ask that you please show up 30mins prior to the performance if possible to be able to check-in and get seated on time. Also, if you are planning on coming in a group, please reserve your tickets under one name so I can be sure to seat you all together.
