🍂 Day 2 of helping you find your next cast on!

Today’s pattern is the Char Char Hat—one of my best-selling patterns since the day it launched.

I designed this hat because I wanted a chunky cable project that looked dramatic without feeling intimidating to knit. The oversized staghorn cable makes a statement, while the broken rib on the back keeps the knitting relaxing and quick.

I named this pattern after my daughter, Charlotte (“Char Char”), and it’s still one of the first patterns I recommend if you’re looking for a cozy weekend knit or want to dip your toes into cables.

🎃 Disney World pumpkins have returned and the Headless Horseman has taken his first ride... which can only mean one thing... it’s time for fall knitting! (My favorite season. 🍂)

Today’s pattern is the Melted Sea Shawl—the very first pattern I ever designed.

I wanted a mindless project that would use up stash fingering-weight yarn and be easy to knit while sitting at my kids’ sports.

It’s squishy, relaxing garter stitch with a beautiful marled fade that’s completely unique to the yarns you choose.

The Go Fish Socks knitting pattern is officially available!

Inspired by fishing trips, camp docks, tackle boxes, and colorful Swedish Fish candy tucked into a summer camp care package, these shortie socks feature schools of colorful fish swimming continuously around the sock.

One of my favorite things about this design is how customizable it is. The chart is built around a simple two-fish repeat, so you can knit a classic two-color version or create a colorful school of fish using as many contrast colors as you’d like.

These socks are knit:
- Cuff down
- Afterthought heel
- Stranded colorwork throughout (Easy to follow chart)
- Four sizes included
