Thursday, June 18 is the first "Third Thursday on Main" of the summer and we're excited to see folks hanging out downtown, with music, vendors, and food trucks from 5-7. The "Sips of Summer" debuts this year, with some businesses offering samples of various refreshing drinks in their stores.

We will be serving store-made black cherry lemonade at Blue Apple Books and South & Pine from 5-7, during the Third Thursday event! Come by and see us for a sip, and stay a while to shop, read, or visit with friends!

Attention DMS, LMS, and JMS parents: we have added 'Queen Eleanor: Spirit of the Medieval World' to our Madison City Schools' Summer Reading order form (linked below).

Although it's not an official summer reading selection, students registered for PreAP World History will need a copy fairly early in the semester, so those teachers have asked that we add it to our list, which we were glad to do.
