Still thinking about Thursday night.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us for Writer's Block with Regan Stewart, Nick Brown, and Rianna Marie. It was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when great songs, great storytellers, and a room full of people willing to really listen come together.

And now we get to do it again.

One of my favorite moments at every Writer's Block isn't the applause.

It's the silence.

That moment when three songwriters are sitting together on stage, one of them starts a song, and an entire room leans in.

No one asked for quiet.

No one had to.

For a few minutes, everyone is simply listening.

That's what Writer's Block has always been about.

Three songwriters sharing songs, stories, and the moments in between. No big production. No distractions. Just the chance to experience a song the way it was written.

Some songwriters have a way of making every song feel like a conversation.

That's what I admire most about Regan Stewart.

Whether she's playing The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville or an intimate listening room, Regan has a gift for drawing you into a song with honesty, humor, and the kind of storytelling that stays with you long after the last note.

I'm thrilled she'll be joining us for Writer's Block on August 6 alongside Nick Brown and Rianna Marie. Three songwriters. Three unique voices. One stage. An evening built around songs, stories, and the moments that happen when artists share not only their music, but the inspiration behind it.

Some voices don’t need to be loud to leave an impression.

That’s one of the things I admire about Rianna Marie.

There’s a warmth and sincerity in her songwriting that draws you in. She has a way of finding the extraordinary in everyday moments, and those are exactly the kinds of songs that come alive in the Writer’s Block format.

On August 6, Rianna joins Regan Stewart and Nick Brown for an evening where three songwriters share the stage, trade songs, tell stories, and occasionally join one another’s performances.

It’s one of my favorite parts of the series, watching three unique voices create something together that couldn’t happen any other night.

That's what I love about Nick Brown's writing.
