TNW Ensemble Theater TNW Ensemble Theater, founded in 1985, is an independent non-profit arts organization. The Company tours throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Driven by artistic innovation and community connection, we produce new works, engage people of all backgrounds with the arts, and promote authentic tap dance. We have created, produced, and performed 35 new plays, 15 tap and jazz music performances and 11 works for young audiences. We conduct arts residencies for people of all ages and abilities.

Do you have a monologue you’ve been working on? The start of a play? Bring it to a playwriting workshop led by award-winning playwright Liz Fentress at TNW Ensemble Theater, 1957 Winnebago St. in Madison, Saturday, May 16, from 1-3 pm.

We’ll read, discuss, and, hopefully, you’ll leave with some valuable feedback and an idea or two for going forward. The workshop is FREE, but let us know you’re coming by sending an email to [email protected]

Feel like running away and joining the circus?

Find out what happened to a woman who did in Liz’s Circus Story. The play follows author/actor Liz Bussey Fentress through the trials and triumphs of life in a fledgling circus to her work as an actor, director, and teacher in professional, community, and educational theatre across the U.S and abroad. Liz portrays herself at various ages, plus an array of circus characters and animals. One show only, Friday, May 15, 7:30 pm, at TNW Ensemble Theater, 1957 Winnebago Street.
