Something enchanting is coming to Fête de Marquette…

A parade appears.

A queen towers above the crowd.

Brass echoes through the night.

Masks conceal familiar faces.

And somewhere beneath the lights, two revelers will leave in a Cinderella carriage.

Join us for Fête de Marquette’s Masquerade Ball, where mystery, music, and a touch of extravagance take over the Cabaret.

The evening begins with a grand procession from the Main Stage, led by the sensational Brass Queens, an all-female New Orleans-style brass band from NYC, accompanied by a dazzling Marie Antoinette stilt walker and a parade of masked merrymakers.

Come adorned in your finest attire and most captivating mask. Keep your eyes open. Six guests will be chosen from the crowd to compete for unforgettable prizes, including VIP drink lanyards, a luxurious stay at Hotel Indigo, dinner at Palette, and a champagne-and-chocolate Cinderella carriage ride through the festival grounds.

And when the winners are crowned…

Let them have cake.

But the night is far from over.

As the masks remain, VO-5 takes the stage and the revelry continues.

If you've got a young performer who loves to sing, there's still time to sign up for the Youth Karaoke Contest at Fête de Marquette, happening July 9-12.

Whether they're a seasoned performer or just excited to grab the mic and have some fun, we'd love to see them on stage!

🎤 La Fête “Got Talent” Karaoke Face-Off is BACK for 2026!

Calling all young performers in Madison. This is your moment.

Singing, dance, comedy, spoken word, instruments. You choose your talent. Perform solo or as a duet and take the stage during Fête de Marquette.

✨ Grade-based competitions run July 9 to July 11
✨ Open mic before and after each round for all ages
✨ Winners perform on the main stage and win ice cream for a year

Performances are 4 to 5 minutes and must be age-appropriate and family friendly. Duets must be within the same grade level. Limited spots are first come, first served. No day-of sign-ups.

20 years of Fête ❤️

In this, our 20th year since it all began, we’re bringing something special to the park.

Los Lobos will be celebrating with us not once, but twice, kicking things off on opening night Thursday, July 9 and closing it out on Sunday, July 12.

Full circle. Full weekend. One iconic band helping us mark 20 years of music, community, and summer in Madison.

Free. All are welcome. Let’s celebrate together at McPike Park.
