What a weekend at the Ohio!

From Beatlemania with The Rigbys on Friday night to celebrating a beautiful wedding on Saturday, this past weekend was a perfect reminder that the Ohio Theatre is more than just a movie theatre.

🎬 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🎬

Join us at the Ohio Theatre on Saturday, July 11th at 7:00 PM for a special screening of the independent film A Place at the Table.

Co-written by and co-starring Madison native Elaine Ewertz, the film was shot entirely in Central Kentucky and created by artists from the Lexington film and theater community.

A Place at the Table is a heartfelt comedy-drama about four adult siblings navigating life after their mother’s death. As old resentments resurface, family roles begin to shift, and their father introduces a much younger woman into the family, each character is forced to confront grief, love, memory, and the complicated ties that bind them.

Blending humor with emotional honesty, this is a story about how grief reshapes us over time and how love, conflict, and healing all have a place at the table.

Come support independent film, regional artists, and a special evening at the movies in downtown Madison.
