Curtain up on a whole new season. 🎭✨

SUITE SURRENDER hits the stage November 13 and 14, 2026.

Then things get a little monstrous when YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (West End Version) storms in March 4, 5, and 6, 2027.

We’ll also be out celebrating theatre with our friends at the STANJ Awards, Foxy Awards, Bergen PAC Awards, and Rising Star Awards.

We are still pinching ourselves. 🥹⭐

Alice by Heart had an absolutely incredible night at the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards, taking home Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Direction, Outstanding Scenic Design, Outstanding Lighting Design, and the Student Achievement Award. Five awards. FIVE. But honestly, the number doesn’t matter half as much as what it represents — a room full of people recognizing what we already know about these kids every single day.

They are talented beyond measure. They are kind, they are brave, they are hardworking, and they show up for each other in ways that make us so proud to be their directors. The Rising Stars are one of the most prestigious honors in New Jersey high school theater, and these students walked in and owned that stage like they were born for it. Because they were. Thank you, Paper Mill Playhouse, for this gift. 🩵🤍🩵

Bergen PAC High School Musical Awards

Our hearts are so full right now. 🥹⭐

The Madison Dramatic Dodgers were named Outstanding Overall Musical at the bergenPAC High School Musical Awards, with additional wins for Best Costume Design and Best Production Set Design — and we are just so overwhelmingly proud we don’t even know where to begin. These kids. THESE KIDS. They worked so hard, they lifted each other up, they brought Alice by Heart to life with everything they had, and to watch them be recognized for it is honestly one of the greatest joys of this work.

This is exactly why we do what we do. Not for the trophies, but for the look on their faces when they realize how extraordinary they truly are. Thank you to bergenPAC for giving our students this beautiful opportunity to shine. Every single one of them deserved this moment. 🐇✨

We are so thrilled and humbled to share that our production of Alice by Heart has received eight 2026 Bergen PAC Award nominations.

Outstanding Overall Musical. Best Direction. Best Actor in a Male Identified Lead Role. Best Actor in a Female Identified Supporting Role. Best Production Set Design. Best Lighting Design. Best Costume Design. Best Lobby Design.

Bergen PAC celebrates high school theater programs from across New Jersey, and to be recognized across so many areas of craft means so much to us. Every nomination reflects the heart and dedication this cast, crew, and creative team brought to this show each and every day.

We are grateful, we are excited, and we could not be more proud of everything Alice by Heart became.

Thank you to Bergen PAC for this honor and for championing student theater makers across the state.

⭐ WE ARE RISING STARS! ⭐
Madison High School is proud to announce 10 nominations in the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards, the most prestigious high school theater awards program in all of New Jersey. 🎭✨
Alice by Heart is a story about the unbreakable power of imagination, the love that carries us through our darkest moments, and the courage it takes to hold onto wonder when the world feels impossible. Our Madison Dodgers brought that story to life with breathtaking honesty and heart.
“Come with me. You can run there. You can breathe there. You’ll be well again. They won’t take you away. We’ll have each other always.” 🌹✨
That is what theater does. It takes us somewhere we can breathe. It reminds us we are not alone. And these students delivered that gift to every single person in that audience.
Our overall nomination means we will perform at the 2026 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award Ceremony on June 9, 2026, at one of the most celebrated theaters in the country. 🎉
Thank you to Paper Mill Playhouse for championing student artists across New Jersey and giving young performers a place where their talent truly matters. 🙏🌟
