Badger Ag Day

Badger Ag Day Each year, the Association of Women holds a hearty, farm-style breakfast and invites the campus, local community, and friends.

Students love it because it’s great food for a great price and the public loves it for the entertainment and more!

2022 Breakfast On The Farm is tentatively being held on May 1st at the UW-Madison Stock Pavilion. Keep an eye out for more information!

✨Introducing our educational chair, Sadie Goettl!✨

Sadie of Berlin, Wisconsin will be a junior studying Agricultural Business Management and Communications Arts with certificates In Public Policy and Integrated Liberal Studies. Sadie says “I am most excited about the new opportunities Cows and Custard will present for the Associaton of Women in Agriculture. Specifically, opportunities to connect with peers and Madison community members.”

✨Introducing our food co-chairs, Jackie Wisinski and Kaitlyn Schott! ✨

Jackie is from Stevens Point, Wisconsin will be a senior studying Agronomy. Jackie said when asked what she was most excited about for Cows and Cones, "I am beyond excited to participate in an event connecting the community to agriculture. In addition, I am excited for individuals to learn more about women's importance in the industry. Also, the impact Association of Women in Agriculture has on its members, UW-Madison, and our current/alums' positive impact on the world.".

Kaitlyn is from Bruce, Wisconsin will be a junior studying Data Science. Kaitlyn says what she is most excited about this coming event is “being able to be a part of a new event that AWA can reach out to new members and the community and make the Saturday game day even more fun! I love being a member of AWA because even though I am not an agricultural major, I can still be involved in the agricultural community at UW-Madison and take advantage of professional, social, and service opportunities!”

Emily is from Appleton, Wisconsin. In the fall she will be a sophomore majoring in Spanish, Life Sciences Communications with a certificate in Environmental Science. "I am excited to share our event and what much everyone has! I hope to continue to grow the number of people hoping to come through our different social media pages leading up to the event, and then share how it went after!" is what she says she is most excited for!

Tamra will be a junior this fall studying Dairy Science. Tamra is from Barneveld, Wisconsin. " One thing I am most excited about for Cows and Custard is to see how many more people we are able to reach with this new event. The public will be able to learn more about agriculture, as well as what the Association of Women in Agriculture is all about. I hope to see you all at Cows and Custard on September 16!".
