Madison Community Orchestra

Madison Community Orchestra The MCO is an ensemble of approximately 70 musicians of varying ages and abilities from the Madison Admission to all concerts is free.

The Madison Community Orchestra is wholly supported by Madison Area Technical College (MATC). The orchestra is comprised of about 70 amateur musicians from Madison and the surrounding area. The orchestra, founded in 1965, performs four concerts a year. Rehearsals are every Tuesday night from 7pm-9pm at the Madison College Truax Campus (1701 Wright St). MCO plays three concerts at Mitby Theater each year and a Christmas concert in the Capitol.

Come make music with us this summer! MCO is hosting our annual repertoire reading sessions this year on the first three Tuesday evenings in July.

The readings are open to all orchestral musicians, so feel free to swing by and check us out!
