Karen Moeller was a gift to this community and to everyone who knew her. She was supportive, open, funny, kind, generous, and so, so immensely talented. There is a reason the Are We Delicious? image represents the business she and her husband, Tony Trout, founded: Karen’s presence was radiant, magnetic, and unforgettable.

The world has lost an incandescent light. We invite our community to honor Karen’s legacy by continuing to gather, create, and support one another in the spirit she embodied—leading with generosity, curiosity, and joy. Her light lives on in the work we make, the stories we tell, and the community we hold together.

What IS (Sc)Are We Delicious? Why the goofy title?

This show is a collaboration with local troupe Are We Delicious? AWD, led by Stacey Garbarski, takes shows from the writing stage to performance over just 3 weeks.

Fast? Yes. Fun? Yes. Nerve-wracking? Yup. But it all comes together through collaboration, teamwork and a well-oiled system that provides an even balance of stage time and workload.

Are We Delicious? had an unforgettable time sharing our work at this year’s The Green Bay Fringe Festival, and we couldn’t be prouder of the laughs, energy, and creativity that filled the room!

A huge thank you to the incredible audiences who showed up and showed out—your support means the world to us. Endless thanks as well to the Green Bay Fringe Festival for welcoming us with open arms and making space for bold, joyful, ensemble-driven theater.

And last but definitely not least, massive love to our Fringe Crew—the brilliant creatives who made the journey from Madison to Green Bay to represent Are We Delicious? with heart and hilarity. You made the magic happen!

Thank you for joining us at Aqua Tofana, and helping make a powerful run such a success.

Putting this show together in just 10 days was no small feat—but the story we told reaches far beyond that timeframe. It’s rooted in lifetimes of injustice, silenced voices, and hidden acts of defiance.

Through her undetectable poison -Aqua Tofana-Giulia Tofana and her circle gave desperate women a way out. History estimates at least 600 men died by her hand—or rather, by the hands of women who had run out of options.

The women you met onstage represent more than a historical figure—they embody the voices of those who were silenced, the resistance born from fear and fury, and a reckoning centuries in the making.

Six ensemble members, as well as an immensely talented creative team, came together—as writers, researchers, and performers—to bring these stories to life. Under pressure, under deadline, but always with purpose, collaboration, and deep respect.

Thank you for witnessing this. And thank you for remembering them.
