While we are giving thanks and enjoying time with family and friends, let us also remember those who will have empty chairs around their tables and a void in their hearts. So many like myself, may be struggling through the "Holiday Seasons" of missing our loved ones, family, & friends and even at times feeling burdened down! Nevertheless, I'm wishing everyone of you a "Blessed & Happy Thanksgiving". Let us continue to be grateful for God's unmerited GRACE & MERCY for allowing us to see another Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving Day should not be the sole or primary occasion where we conscientiously seek to give thanks for all that we are blessed with. God has provided us with so much more than one day of thanks can account for, whether it be for the roof above our heads, the meals in which we partake, the ability to share with loved ones or the less fortunate, or just the presence of family and friends - none of these stand alone; God should be the foundation of our GRATITUDE and THANKSGIVING.
This Thanksgiving, amongst both the chaos and celebration, find comfort in the fact that God has blessed us with more than we even take notice of. Even more so, with all that He has given us, remember that it is not ours to keep; a life of thanksgiving is reflected by the desire to share and help those in need so that all can rejoice and give thanks to God.
May you celebrate Thanksgiving Day with love in your heart, prosperous vision in your mind, and gratitude in your being. Thanksgiving wishes to everyone!
