A HUGE round of applause to the team of artists and staff that helped make last week's 2026 Wisconsin Wrights New Play Festival shine! Thank you to the on-site production team, the Edgewood University student assistants, and the talented actors, directors, and stage managers that brought these plays to life.

Most importantly, congratulations to festival playwrights David Daniel (Roses & Ruses), Jacqueline Kehoe (Impossible Monsters), and Ali Mansouri (Paper)! Each play was a delight for our audiences, and a reminder of the brilliance and depth of the Wisconsin theater community. We hope to see these plays featured on a mainstage soon!

We simply adore Sarah Day 🥰 Enjoy this delightful (and bittersweet) interview with one of Wisconsin's most prolific and brilliant actresses, coming on the heels of her retirement from American Players Theatre .
