Welcome to Madtown Lightsaber Battles (MLBs). In 2015 two of us wanted to start recording light saber battles for fun. So we choreographed our first fight. We decided that battling in front of an audience would be really awesome. So we went to State Street in Madison to test our Force powers. Now a year later we have a camera man, a two managers, more duelists and are working to start spreading ou

Due to life apparently giving us all a kick in the teeth multiple times. We're gonna perform next year. We simply aren't ready and lightsabers are on back order. They wouldn't come in the mail till early December. So we're goona wait. Performance will be scheduled some time next summer. I imagine this drives everyone insane. We're thrilled as well. But we refuse to deliver anything less than a perfect performance

And so it begins.. The start of the making and collaborating of the 4th and final sequence to wrap this insanely 5 sequence 6-8 minute choreographed routine up. This battle will without a doubt leave the fighters/actors sore and feeling it for a solid week.. Between the punches, kicks, elbows, and knee blows to the head and torso. Well be lucky if not all but one of us walks away with out a fractured something or another. During practice we execute phantom/tap kicks or punches. During performance... It's gonna leave a mark. We're not looking to make this look nice, friendly, or kid friendly this time around. Given the characters that will be going toe to toe.. anticipation will meet expectations. Madtown Lightsaber Battles will deliver a savage, emotional, and brutal performance!!
