Connect with other classical music lovers ages 21-40 and enjoy an exclusive pre-concert event in the Overture Center’s The Wisconsin Studio. Make flower bouquets, enjoy appetizers, grab a drink at the bar and listen to music by DJ BP Lar. Tickets are $40 which includes a seat to the Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony concert and event access with drink tickets provided. If you’ve already purchased concert tickets, event-only tickets are only $20.

A big congratulations to our winner of the 2026 Topitzes Family Fall Youth Concerto Competition, Jacob Martonito!

Jacob is a 13-year-old violinist and 8th grade student at Classical Charter School in Appleton, Wisconsin. He began studying violin at age five, spending three years in the Suzuki Violin Program before continuing his training with Dr. Yuliya Smead, with whom he has studied for the past five years.

Jacob is in his fifth season with the Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestras (FVSYO), where he serves as Assistant Concertmaster of the Youth Orchestra. He has also served as Concertmaster of both the Philharmonia and Concert Orchestra.

His musical accomplishments include first-place honors in the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association (WMTA) State Competition Elementary Strings Division in 2023 and 2024, and first place in the Fox Valley Music Teachers Association Junior Strings Division in 2025. He received WSMA Exemplary Awards in 2025 and 2026, as well as Honorable Mention in the Madison Symphony Orchestra Fall Youth Concerto Competition in 2024 and the Topitzes Family Fall Youth Concerto Competition in 2025.

Outside of music, Jacob is the 2025 Badger State Spelling Bee Champion and holds a second-degree black belt in karate.
