Hello friends! This is a project I've been drumming up in my mind for quite some time. I've sent invites out to just a few of you while I get the page fleshed out a bit more with photos, and ideas.
The general, fluid idea is: having an Art, Craft, Making, Fixing, Expression based group/spaces/get togethers for Q***rs. I often see posts on Q***r Madison page that are about sewing or something crafty that people get real excited about, but haven't seen them come to fruition.
I know there's lots of qu**rs around that do great things- some I know in passing, some I'm close to, and most I haven't even met yet!
I am super passionate about a wide array of arts, and would like to share whatever level ability I have, as well as learn from others! Also it's real fun to collaborate, and make things in a space with other people. Supplies can be expensive, classes are expensive/hard to find the time. Let's pool together and CREATE!
I've also been wanting to use my skills and surplus resources to make things to sell for fundraising to help the community.
So yep! feel free to chime in with any ideas, things you'd like to do, or just get on with your day.
